guess what! in the mission 'Broken Vows' there is another very cool thing. this confused me a little but made sense after the final mission...

go to the table in the lower house of J'Ghasta and look at the keg. It has a lock level of very hard... but me and my skeleton key had no trouble! Now what did i find? the dark brotherhood hood and robe and the five tenets book!!!

*snicker* serves that family right. what i did is i attacked one with fists, and ran to all of the places. soon, i had the entire family right behind me: siler blade, mace, fists, uhhhh, fists, and i think a blade. then i just used my blizzard spell, and wasted all of em. course, my bounty was well over 2000, but hey, when you join the darkbrotherhood, anything goes! also, there is a gay guy in a small cave just outside of bravil. when you talk to him, he goes *oh my gosh! it is another person! no way! how do you feel about death is nearing? super!" and attacks you. he is very hard, for he has a daedric longsword and full orcish armor.

Alval Uvani is the easiest kill in this game, all you need is an invisibility spell find him out side of town where lucian suggests and lure a mountain lion towards him then go invisible and watch the poor bastard get torn apart, one time i also got a black bear and a bandit archer into the area, i had to run after the corpse down the hill leaving a blood red smear down the mountain-side

I have received the "next of kin" mission. When I travel to applewatch, I can't find Perennia Draconis. She is not in the house, not in the field. Only the dog is there. The Green marker points to a spot in the open field, but she isn't there. Why is this so? Have i missed out something? Pls help me.

I tried killing Alval Uvani by piosoning him w/ mead, but there was one bottle of wine sitting right next to him, so I couldn't take it with out being caught, so I ended up just hiding next to the stair case where he couldn't see me (this was in the Inn in Skingrad) and shot him in the head with enchanted arrows! He died with out noticing that I did it, and I totaly didn't get caught.(I had no bounty what so ever!)

You don't POISON him with da mead he's allergic to de stuff in da mead. Alternative way, sneak, wait for him to come up to the second floor or to an empty place, make sure the sneak-eye isn't glowing and do the sneak attack, he'll die instantly unless you're using some shait weapon Doombuhrse.

As soon as I got the quest A Matter of Honor, a quest message told me that Alval Uvani was dead, and that i should pick up my next mission and reward. It turned out that he had been a vicyim for one of my many random murders, a long time ago!

It is pretty cool that you didn't have to kill Alval Uvani, but I wouldn't recommend killing random people because you may need them for future quests. Like in that one quest where you had to work with the crazy guy in Skingrad... If you work with him he pays you alot, but if you just kill him the you won't get as much money as you could have gotten by just waiting...Or sometimes if the person is important and you try to kill them they will only get knoked out...so I don't know...

THis looks like the sword I got from Vincente the Vampire when I killed him in the Purification. Go back to the Brotherhood Sanctuary find his body and it should be laying around. Its called a Long Glass Sword or something like that

Lol, the green sword is as glass longsword. They get old fast, on my level 21 character I've already moved on to Ebony. All items in the game are level locked, the higher the level you are the better the weapons and armour are on shopkeepers and anyone else who has weapons or armour. For example the Orc in the sanctuary had iron one minute, when I levelled up the next day he had steel. Then I killed them all. Pity.

an kool way to master the game is that get ur alteration to 100, buy a shield spell'go to the altar of spellmaking in the arcane university and make a 100% shield spell. now u can take on 3 minotaur lords in the arena( in case u have become grand champion) with ease which explains it all

gr8nord: The maximum armor limit is 85, which is 85% damage reduction. I've got a Claymore which does 20 Fire / Frost / Shock / Magicka Damage for a total of 80 Damage. I've got a Longsword which does 40 Fire Damage for 1 Second / Weakness to Fire 100% for 6s. Also 80 Damage. No intention of bragging. But Damage + Weakness is a really good combination. (Oh btw, I've a mod which makes Grand Soul Gem give 3000pts instead of 1600pts.)

Anything and everything you do for the dark brotherhood will add to your infamy, thereby taking away your crusader armor. The best way to remedy this situation is to complete all the dark brotherhood quests, then complete the pilgrimage again, then you will be allowed to wear the crusader armor once more.

it's a glass sword, once you hit lvl 20 you can go to blueblood fort and take one off of almost any bandit there. (it's near leyawiin, southeast, take the leyawiin mage guild quest to get the exact location) it only does 20 damage but it sells for 450g (not bad). your better off with the ebony weapons you can find there. p.s. if you go before lvl 20 you wont find n e glass stuf, or ebony

I killed Alval Uvani by going to the inn in Skingrad that he stays at (The West Weald Inn) and when he wasalone and no one else was around, I used sneak (Im a Journeyman in sneak) and shot him with my magical bow(Shadowhunt-you get it from completing a dark brotherhood quest). It was really easy. I killed him in one shot!

Sissagirl , On killing J'ghasta, I just snuck up on him while he was sleeping in the training room and stabbed him. It only took two blows. It was really easy. Just use your sneak and get him while hes sleeping!

Theyres an easier way to kill Andreas Draconis. Tell him any of the two offensive options and he will attack you. The imperial legion guard in the inn will then kill him.

A cool hint for "A Matter of Honor." If you can catch the elf at night on his journey from city to city, and you have a good enough marksman skill, (or low difficulty) you can sneak-shoot him right off his horse. He doesn't have any guards while traveling (odd) and it's really fun and satisfying. Or you could just do the mead thing but it's almost impossible to keep your bounty from going up.

hey i noticed that no else did this, but for the andreas draconis guy, i walked into the tavern, and the guard attacked me for being a vampire [im sorry but the pickings had been slim for a while XD] I lured the guard out of the room and Shadowmere kicked the ever living crap out of him for me once we got outside. Once he was dead, i went back inside and did the same thing with andreas, boom boom. both dead and i was 500g richer. [i just wish it was 500g per head instead of 500g per contract] it wasn't up to my typical sneaking standards, but hey it got the job done so im happy.

Glitch??



While checking out Fort Farragut I was noticed by one of the skeleton guardians. I booked it out of the fort and ran to my house in Cheydinhal. No worries, except the music for the "being chased by something dangerous that might eat you" parts of the game continued to play and all attempts to fast travel were stopped by "you can't fast travel when enemies are nearby"...I thought "meh" it's a glitch - I'll wait it out - and bam - skeleton guardian is in my house and hacking at my head with an axe - he had chased me from the fort. I killed him... good job. And went on with other contracts. I have all the houses in the game and stopped by Cheydinhal shortly thereafter....old ugly had re-generated and was coming at me again - inside my house. Killed him. Took his head and arm and dumped them in the fire place - I know lame, but satisfying. Went away to do some other quests - came back and there he was....swinging the axe when I entered the house. I went outside - thinking to kill him outside so he would wander away and he followed, started to attack me, got disracted by townspeople and they clobbered the crap out of him in the street. So funny I was trying to dispatch him while laughing so hard I could barely use the controls. I haven't gone back to see if he is running amok in Cheydihal.
