I didn't read through the entire thread, so I don't know if anyone said this or not.



Save your game before you go in. You talk to the first guy, and he says you go see the next guy. once you are through the door, (which locks behind you) drop EVERYTHING. Talk to him, and he will take your gold. once he says to follow, turn around and pick up all your stuff. Then, when you steal the book, you have your full arsenal to deal with the Mythic Dawn! (I was level 6 when I did this quest, but my destruction level was over 100. I made some good spells to clear rooms, and it made it easy to wipe them all out.



To get your destruction level up high (on an Xbox 360), you have to buy a weakness to something spell and get into the arcane university. (Unless you bought frostcrag spire) (ust the paintbrush ladder if you must... and make a spell that is on self, weakness to (whatever) for 1 second for 1 point. Equip this spell and find yourself a nice quiet corner in a peaceful city to stand in. then, begin to cast the spell. I switched video inputs on my TV and watched a movie. As I sat there, I clicked the spell button every three seconds. The controller will vibrate each time, so you can get your timing just right. When you cast your spell a few times, and there is no vibration from the controller, it means you have hit the next level of ability. press 'A' and continue... eventually, you will become a Master of destruction. If Destruction is a Major skill, you may need to level up, but if it is a minor, you are good to go! It takes a LONG time, but if you dedicate yourself to about three hours, it will be done. There is nothing like being a level 4 character and having the ability to cast spells that wipe out anything you come across! I know this technique works with Conjuration as well. So now, you can just do whatever you want in the Mythic Dawn cave, and just walk out!

i nevered though of turning the channel when you need to level up. what i basically do is run around the chorrol mages guild and keep pressing the right bumper.

He will be in the cavern for sure, he is in random rooms so I can't pinpoint him exactly. When I did this quest I just refused to give him my stuff and just went commando on their asses. That might have been the smartest thing I ever did, but necromancers have little chance against a expert destruction dark elf.

Papa-san, how do i create a spell to weakness to myself? do i need to get all the recommendations from the mage guilds and get into the univercity or do i need to complete ALL the mages guild quests? i need to get my destrction skill up so i can defeat all Dunmir and all the other people. also i have been using the dupe glitch to get money and buy things but recently it has just stopped working and when i drop something only one of thoose objects comes out. Help anyone?

Ok, i have found out how to create spells, (i just got into the mages guild) so dont warry about that bit. can someone still please tell me what spell i need to "clear rooms" and "easily wipe them out". also can smeone tell me how to get more Magika coz i am a master of destruction and i only have 166 Magika. also can someone tell me about the glitch thing in my last post. thanks

Ok. so i just totally found this site and i did it different. I stealth arrowed the doorkeeper and finished him off. Then i just used sneak around the whole place and sneak killed anyone i could. This way i still had al my gear to kill them at the end with, not a puny dagger.

so here is my problem.After the first guy opened my cave I killed him,( I did that because i didn't want to give my possesions from the begining,so it would be easier for me to kill him right away),and anyway I killed and the next guy passed through a door(which now I cannot open) ,killed some others but they don't have any key to open the next doors.Plus I saved the game only when I entered the door after killing the second guy.So I'm stucked and I can't load the game to a previous moment.is there anything I can do,or should I restart the game?:S

If none of them gave you a key then it could be on some crate or furniture, if not then try reloading or restarting the game from where you are. And I think to save the argonian you have to wake him up or free him right away before the statue crumbles on him.

For those of you asking how to get through with just using the dagger... I dropped my magic sword on the ground right before Harrow approached me, and after I let him take everything, I picked the sword back up and followed him. It's a lot easier killing everyone with a magic sword than a dagger. Strangely, no one questioned why I had a sword with me... Hope this helps.

So i noticed something when i played through this after several tries that when i take the book from the altar the statue right behind it crumbles so what i did was get Harrow to stand right under it before i grabed the book and when the statue crumbles it hit Harrow for about half his health wich makes him easier to kill and get ur stuff back
