Fable: Collect the Hero Dolls

sorry but there are 8 hero dolls and 1more that is jack of blades(in knothole glade are one of them isnide the tabern and in hook coast there are the other hero doll in the same place(the tabern). I don´t know what can I do with the jack hero doll.who can help me??

the jack 'hero doll can give you jacks clothes so you look like him but you attributes stay the sam u need to keep the mask and use the doll by assigning it to your quick inventory. I completed the game in 9 hours 32 minutes completing every single quest maxing every stat and obtaining every item including legendary weapons. I am a Fable:TLC god ha!

To get into the cellar it must be 10 or 11pm and u go to lookout point and talk to the statue and it says it is pointing towards bowerstone. all that is in there is a dark leather top

To get the hero dolls just do better than the score needed to win the game (it does not matter how much money you bet, you can just use 1 coin). The first time I played Fable I used this tactic in Bowerstone South…for the match up game- I went to the pub and played his game. During the game I would flip a card then immediately pull out the controller cord and write down the card's positioning and what the card was on a table (on paper) then I would plug the controller back in, and do the same for the rest of the cards till I knew them all. Then I just matched them up. IMPORTANT make sure to use slow time it will remain that way until you stop playing the game. Otherwise you may not have enough time to compete the game. Hope this helps in some way.

Okay in the chicken kicking contest the first prize is the chicken hat (250 points) then second is a silver key for 100 to 150 points I believe. This contest is very annoying and it requires a bit of practice. Try as hard as possible not to go over the line it will take away one out of your five kicks. What I did was got as far back as I could then I positioned my character diagonal to the 100-point area (left one or right it does not matter preferably the side which the chicken is closest to). Then I waited for the chicken to get lined up with me. Once that happened I ran and kicked it. Note that this will take practice and it is frustrating. All you need to win is five 50s or preferably one 100 and three 50s which ever works.

Well the dolls do not power you up. By completing this hero doll quest you get jack of blades hero doll worth 2400 gold. In my opinion it's not worth the money (for money look at my guide for infinite money on the avo tear guide player comments #101 Enigma you will need to go to the bottom of the page and click on the read all comments scroll down till you see my paragraph). This quest is just something fun to do in your spare time cause your going to need to visit many towns to complete it. Hope this helped.

There is one way I know to decrease your characters age. During the game when you proceed to take the search of the archaeologist (first time you travel to the island with knothole glade) you will be required to visit maze and speak with him at the guild (after find bandit seeress mission) before going to the island (after accepting mission) save your game file then proceed once taking the mission (screen telling you what you will receive and what boasts you have decided upon) head towards the temple of avo (skipping the H-I-T-S demon door completely) and donate at temple until receiving 5 years off your life. If you wish you can also recover any other items in knothole glade and elsewhere on the island. Once satisfied hero save and load your previous save before coming here. Repeat this until you are pleased with your age and other items... then actually complete the mission. Remember that once reducing your age you may still age if you have yet to max all your states (means if you level out your unfinished states you will continue to age) that is why I usually attempt to max my character before doing so (I just continuously killed guards in barrow fields with skorm's bow and murren's greathammer-know that this is still the beginning of the game...) with level 2 physical shield and those strong weapons one with experience aug. I trained until I had combat multiplier of 66 and higher. Once I felt my combat multiplier was high enough I used my ages of potions (1 will, 1 skill, and 2 strength, no general experience potion) for extra experience. If you do this have many will replenishing potions for physical shield. I did this to make sure I would not age as much remember not to get the 5 years off before you actually complete this mission in order to hold a mini 5 year off back up. Hope this helps some percentage and I apologize for submitting so much.

Yes, that is unfortunate I myself have had trouble with this one #110. When donating to the temple of avo be careful... I maxed everything (so after I lowered my age it would not go up to 65 again after leveling), (I was unable to get fully good spells for I had killed over 1500 guards in barrow fields and had a combat multiplier of 111 before deciding I had enough experience to max out my character-used physical shield) but 3 fully good spells before doing this mission (physical shield, heal life, and I believe summon). when donating I received the sentinus (using 32,000 gold and I donated a couple more times using 1 coin each to receive life deduction) I also claimed the harbringer. When I went around a 2nd time i did not receive a sentinus, but I did receive the life reduction when I checked my inventory I noticed that the sentinus was missing! Due to saving faux-paus I decided to start over to figure out what had happened. I suggest two things 1. Save your game before starting the mission on two separate files then proceed on one 2. Donate exactly 48,000 to gain just the life reduction (so I have been told) and not the sentinus (yet) also do not get harbringer if able to, until after mission so as not to lose a legendary weapon.

Oh btw, slow time works wonders during the games that u "can" use them on. I beat the card sorting in knotshole in 10s. (maybe that's because I have the spell leveled up completely??..dunno) The only game that gave me trouble was the card pairs in Bowerstone, because you're not able to use the slowtime spell, or any spell for that matter =P Was a B but I finally did it in 21s! Yes, chicken kicking and all others containing a trophy and other prizes (fishing comp. archery comp. etc- if any others) stay as bronze quests unless you force them to leave by means of force. I do believe you need to speak with child after collecting all hero dolls excluding doll of you during day (at school or outside not sure if it matters). Child has a green dot on your map in upper right hand corner. All you receive is a jack of blades hero doll worth 2400 gold (Mistress Pom Pom has proclaimed she received one from lady grey as a gift while married of course, I personally have never received one from her, but if so you will have complete collection of all dolls without losing the other 5-6). Also in my game the only one I have yet to acquire is the scarlet robe in knothole glade pub- my slow time is mastered yet has no effect on him for the other pubs I didn't use slow time... if I needed to I would unplug my controller (xbox) to stall time then write down the needed info such as in bowerstone south. In Knothole Glade my high score without slow time (for it is useless in my game) is 26.7 how low would any of you suppose it would take to acquire the hero doll? 25 perhaps?

Ive noticed that is doesn't matter much though. It seems that everything on the xbox is in the same place on the pc. I was using an xbox guide at first actually and it was pretty dam accurate. Using slow time before you get into the pub in Knothole Glade works. On Xbox, I didn't know where Snowspire was, but I already had the Thunder doll, so that worked too. I think you get the Thunder doll when you kill Thunder, after marrying Lady Gray or something.

I think u need the Thunder doll to get the Jack of Blades doll as well as the others. For thpse who don't know how to get one, you can buy it in the Arena during the Arena Quest, or you can get it after the quest in Bowerstone North or South, I don't remember which one.

Well Bobban, I only used slow time and it worked perfectly, so either one of our games is glitching, or people fear you too much to sit still when you use a spell. 27 seconds should be enough to get the briar rose doll. Hey wouldn't it be funny if you could magicly make the hero dolls attack people, like Puppet Master.
