Ghost Recon AW: Introduction

Hi there- awesome job!

Thank you for putting the time and effort into this guide, it's a truly amazing one.

I am totallly LOVING this game, taking it sweet and easy through the first mission and reading your words of wisdome as I go. So far, after I have finished clearing a section, but keeping it handy for when I get stuck.

Again, thank you for this great guide, the first I have found on the PC game and really cleverly put together.

Go Cosmo! Seems like all the goss is dedicated to X360, the only PC-based one i've been able to find - congrats! Helped me to finally get over a mission I was stuck on for 4 days...

Tony...I had this same problem...that is until I upgraded from a GeForce4 Ti4200 to a GeForce 7600 GS. Unfortunately if your card is NOT listed under the requirements for graphics cards that will work you just might end up with this black screen. Sorry for the bad news but you must upgrade your video card.

is it me or is anyone else struggling to use the sniper rifle.i cant stop it wavering even in the prone position, i am stuck on guardrail and cannot take out the snipers with the other weapons on xbox 360 you hold your breath but i cant find it on pc , any clues greatly appreciated

I recently got a new computer, one I assembled after buying the parts from NewEgg.com. The GeForce 7600GT video card came with Warfighter and I cannot get it to work. I have installed it, without a problem, but when I go to play, the screen goes black and then exits the game back to windows. I have tried updating windows and have gotten the newest drivers availble for the vid card. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

I have Xbox360 version and it doesn't look anything like what I'm seeing in the guide... I'm stuck on a rooftop and can't get off of the roof. I've shot all combatants and snipers... I have an Abrams tank at my disposal and used it to blow up enemy vehicles.... the yellow box with a circle says "Enemy Outpost" but I can't get to it. What do I do?

This game has an awsome element of consecutive firing action on the game it is good the way you can act in strateries just like in real life. Me and my dad Michael Gallie really do enjoy playing the game and think it should be top rated on the list of top 10 xbox 360 games. I can't wait for Advanced Warfighter 2 to come out I'm going to buy it the first day it comes out. To the people who read this and are very interested in a top quality shoot them up advanced game I highly recomend you buy Advanced Warfighter 2 as well as the collection. To all with black screens. Make sure you are not connected in any way to Internet and try turning off any Anti-virus program. My GRAW works O.K. on 7600 GT with F-Secure turned on, but some other games I have do require the Anti-virus to be switched off. It might work. One moan! Not being able to switch to other team-mates as in GR1 is a bummer.

To all the black screens. I had same problem. Try going into your video advance settings,go in additional direct 3d settings, where it says max frames render ahead change to 0, that should fix the problem did for me. Im running HP pentium 2.80ghz duel processers, 1gb ram, GT 7300 512mb video, and game runs smooth as glass with that one small change.

Hi there.

Thank you for a very informative guide. I've been looking for quite sometime, but I didn't expect to find such an excellent walkthrough, simply amazing. G.R.A.W. on the PC is really tough for me, mostly because of the A.I. and my patience running out. However, I do find it fun. I also own the XBOX 360 version, which is for me, a lot better.



Thanks again for the guide and this site. I will let others know and direct them to gamepressure.

I just bought Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for my playstation 2 , and it's not really that good as in the other consoles, but I just have a question, in the last mission, where do you find carlos ontiveros and how do you get to him?

GhOstAnGeLo... --> Are you talking about the last part of the mission, near the ruins of Embassy? First, try to take out the MachineGunner on first floor(?), then take out the other mercenaries, that you can see. If you want, let your sniper do the job. Then order him to go to the front of the building, let's say send him on the road. He will be able to clear the stairay for you and the team. Switch to full-auto, and go to the building. When you get close enough, a few enemies will come down the stairs. The sniper should kill them, but don't wait for him, he's only covering you.(He may not be fast enough, and you'll propably have to restart the checkpoint) Leave your team on the stairs, then lean around the corner, and try to kill the enemies in the rooms to your left. You may use grenades, if you have any. They will be helpful. :) Ontiveros is one of these mercs.



This is the walkthrough for PC version. I don't know are the PS2 and PC missions similiar. Good luck.
