I wouldn't bother with the Aleswell Quest. A wizard gives you an uninvisablity spell to turn a village back from invisable. I didn't get the ring from him that you are supposed to get, so while using the spell to make the villagers visable my luck was knocked from 60 to 4! Now if I knew about/had the ring then my luck would not have gone down, but even with that not happening all you get is a free stay at the Inn from a grateful innkeeper/village leader. This quest has conjurers and scamps and invisable rats to deal with, the rats just have the meat and the conjurers have nothing either. So although it's a small quest, it's really not worth it unless your going to stay at the Inn a few hundred times during the game!

When you have the vampire cure, Janus Hassildor offers you a reward of 5000(if you ask him for it). However, if you ask him agian you'll get another 5000 and another and so on!!!!. I discovered this before I downloaded the patch from Xbox Live, so I don't know if the mulitple payments will work after you've done so. But hey! It's worth a try! I got 150,000 before I realized that it kind of ruined the fun of the game, suddenly being able to buy everything in Tamriel. So I started from a previous save and got aprox. 30000, enough for the Skingrad Mansion fully furnished. That is easy access to the two mini quests inside the mansion. (the Ring of the Gray is very cool)

Yes it is true you can kill the uldefrykte it says so in the Oblivion Players guide (just bought it a couple of days ago) and you can also get the bow too but you have to defeat her (uldefrykte a.k.a Mrs. Bigfoot a.k.a Oblivion Yeti) and shes tough too so bring a partner from the Arcane University or Dark Brotherhood or both and go to Dive Rock and slay that yeti! (she's a hidden easter egg boss too.)

There's also another hidden boss who has a real lot of lewt (bones to armor to weapons to enchanted armor) he is known as the giant slaughter fish he is found in the cave in the Thieves Guild quest: Arrow Extrication. You have to go to the flooded part of the cave and dive in and swim all the way to the bottom and that's where he is but hes pretty strong.

Hey vampire cure if you purchase Frostcrag Spire you can get blood grass from there every couple of days. There is also a large abundance of other fruits and vegetables there, plus when you purchase all of the furniture you can get an altar that adds +15 to your alchemy when you stand next to it (which helps quite a bit when making potions). You can also make atronachs of all kinds (with 3 of the same salts), make your own spells, and even attach your own soul gems to your weapons. Check it out.

A big help to get the vampire cure is to complete every single mages guild quest and become the arch-mage. Once you are the arch-mage, you get an enchanted chest that duplicates ingredients that are left in it for a day. This way, you can find one of the ingredients then put it in the chest. However, i think this only works once a week.

You need an empty grand sould gem and a sould trap spell. Then go to a necromancer lair that has an altar outside of the cave. If a beam of light is shinging down on it, then activate it and cast a soul trap spell at it.

Just as a note, I was one of those people who was having issues with the questgiver for the vampire quest not giving me an option to turn in bloodgrass. But there is an "option" for those that don't mind cheating a bit. Type "coc testinghall" and it will send you to a testing zone with lots of doors. One of the doors should be labeled for misc. items or such. Anyway, in one of the rooms there is a chest with all potions in the game... including the cure for vampirism.

I've heard theres a bug with the vampirism cure quest if you've already completed the main quest, so you have to turn them in in the right order... blood grass, nightshade, garlic, Argonian blood, and vampire ashes is what I heard, but I have not yet tested this as I enjoy being a vampire.

I just found out the easiest way of making money so I decided to share with you guys. When finishing doing the vampire cure mission your reward is $7500 gold well from there just keep talking to him and asking for the reward and he'll keep giving you $7500 gold it only takes like 3 seconds each time.

(just feed immediatly AFTER you sleep) the curse ststus only goes up when you sleep. ok well if you go to sleep and wake up to that dream that tells you that your a vampire and instead of going on the quest to get the cure all you have to do is load up the game from the last save before you went to sleep then after you have it loaded up dont go to sleep just go to guilded carafe' in imperial city market district and buy "cure for disease" potion and to make sure that it works go to an inn save the game next to the bed then drink the potion and go to sleep and then you shouldn't have that dream anymore and you dont have to worry about being a vampire (but this only works if you do it befor you have the dream) GOODLUCK!!!!!

When I did end up getting the quest from her I went back to the cave and ended with two 'Rockshatters'. Is this some strange glitch or just a sick joke. Anyway, the game won't allow me to complete the quest even tough I got the stupid mace. Can anyone help? Is there a patch? I have the game for the 360, not PC.

OK i found a fix online. I guess this is a problem if you have finished the main quest, the bloodgrass option will not come up. so just open up the console and type "set ms40.bloodgrassvar to 2"

If the witch does not take the blood grass then youve hit a glitch..yes a glitch...Apparently ive heard numerous cases of people saying that she doesnt take blood grass and that the mission just doesnt go any futher. Ive had the same thing happen to me and i didnt have a saved file before i gave her everything.. soo make sure you save before giving her the stuff

It won’t matter if you have a saved game unless the saved game is before you beat the main quest. Most people won’t want to go back that far. If you have beat the main quest and have not yet got the cure for vampirism then she will not take the grass. For PC, typing "set ms40.bloodgrassvar to 2" will make her think she already has the bloodgrass and she will then go make the cure.

INFINITE NIRNROOTS: It's easy to get 1,000,000 nirnroot. Get out your bow and arrow. Find a place where you can see the ground and has a wall next to it. Stand 2 feet from the wall (doesn't REALLY matter...) hold down your arrow and then go to your inventory. Equip and unequip your arrows (can't really do it so just press 'unequip' twice) and then go to ninroot. Drop the ninroot then exit your inventory and it will spray the ground with about 70 of them (if you have 1 in your inventory). This works on everything that weighs less than a pound (1.0 or less). It might make your system freeze if you do it in a large herb like a Cairn Bolete Cap or something since they're really big. It's also a really good way to make money and/or just screw around. HINT: Do it with books and it's so funny looking!

Ive noticed alot of you have had the same problem as me, once you have completed the main quest the witch wont take the bloodgrass and keeps saying "once you bring me all the stuff ill make a potion blah blah..." If you goto one of the daedric shrines where the followers are frozen (see daedric quests) then the quest crosses you into oblivion and you can find bloodgrass then it works... =) hope this has helpt If you have completed both main quest and that daedric quest then >=< i think your screwed. peace.

if that BlTCH wont take the bloodgrass, and u cant do the quest, then get like 300microsoft points, go to market place, buy deepscorn hollow, go into the deepscorn cloister, grab the purgeblood salts, get in the water and activate the shrine and VOILA! ur cured.....saves urself a lot of time if u want to go on and off as a vampire.....newbz...

There's plenty Grand Soul Gems around the place. Visit each Mage Guild location and buy/steal em all.
