Hey I gave didn't give the Sword to Fathis Ules, and now he won't talk to me. Even when I have the Cowl of Nocturnal, he just stays in Choral and sulks. Is there anyway I can get him to go back to the Imperial City and be a Fence again?

I did the Separated at Birth quest, and now the two brothers are both in the Grey Mare but they haven't met! One of the guys is just disbelieving when I tell him he has a brother, and the other says "I can't talk now, I have to meet my brother." Is anyone else having this problem?

I am trying to complete the Legacy Lost quest but there are no ogres for me to fight at Weatherleah. I have tried to wait for 5 days, I have done other missions, and I have searched for hours in the forest for them. Anyone have an advice??

get some ebony arrows from isidar mithrum, in the northwest of bruma. look at the south wall of cheydinhal and you will see a goblin hanging from the legs in rpoes. fire the arrow at his lower left shin, and he will fall down. he will then thank you and tell you there is a wizard that is in a small tower in leyawiin, but is invisilbe due to stealthyness. use the spell he teaches you, all invislbes are gays, on the small pond where you kill phillada. a tower will arise, turn into a oblivion gate, and mehrunes dagon will walk out. suddnly, everybody will attack you, along with the daedra from the gate. a dragon will appear overhead, and will grab you with his talons. he will cary you to hammerfell, were you will be dropped into a upwards oblivion gate. all the daedra lords are in a cirlce aound you, exept mehrunes dagon. they will attack you. kill them all, and you will be transported to the small town of hackdirt. the deep ones are there. they will tell you that this world shall soon duplicate oblivion, and a shadow will go over the land. howver, before they attasck you, they laucnch a spell that sends some ogres to weatherleah. you now have 10 minutes before the land becomes oblivion to kill em. once you kill em, itll say that you defeated the ogres. it wont matter, however, since oblivon will soon kill everyone on earth. this quest is called "armegeedon". i hpoe that cleared it up.

Apparently you need to be a member of the theives guild to be able to get the "Sins of the Father" quest in chorrol. Just thought that would be a handy addition to the guide incase people got confused as to why Fathis Ules would not give them the quest.

To get heavier armors just go on raising your levels. Doing this you will encounter more powerful enemies who will wear better armors such as ogres', dwarfs' and daedras'. Never give away the Spirit sword (the one you take from Umbra) as it is the best you'll ever find (or at least this seems to me). When you meet the daedra's statue that asks you to retrieve that sword just tell him you will not give it away. He will be a little pissed off, but nothing more. WARNING: after you refuse to give the Spirit sword to the daedra, it will become "real" and so its weight (45 lbs!!!).

alot of peole think that umbras soul catching mega sword is one of the best, if not the best sword you will find in the game. i couldent agree more. but, there is one that matches it if not beats it. its called goldband, it has about 28 damage points, 30 if you repair it to 125%. but thats not it it also has a massive 22 pionts fire damage with it. now that a sword. you can obtain it by doing the Clavicus Vile shrine quest. see deadric shine quests part 1. good luck

Tyr the Unfriendly Competition quest in the Imperial city. IF my memorty is working I think that Agamar's compainion was wearing Daedric armour. Otherwise, level up, 20-25+, and visit Oblivion. go south of the imperial city and find the odl bridge, go west on the road and not far is a ruin and is usually guarded by a scamp or something, go inside through about 2 big rooms (watch out for the trap floor) and umbra is in the third big room, kill her and get the armor, not a hard one.

The ogre chief at the end of the 'sins of the father' mission is hard. If ur a mage or warrior u should have no trouble, but if ur an assassin or thief its harder. Instead of fighting him head on, Sneak up on him from far away and shoot him with an arrow. When he runs at u, run backwards while letting fly some arrows at him, and his oafish attacks are easy to dodge.

If u want to have the best merchant in the game, give the sword to Ules. If u dont give him the sword he'll go all pissed with u and never trade with u again. Ules is the potentially richest merchant in cyrodiil so its ur choice- get an awesome shield or get some measly gold and have access to the best merchant- I went for the shield ;)

Alright, this game is really pissing me off at this point. I'm at "Legacy Lost", and I spoke to the brothers, right? Turns out I have already found weatherleah before, so I fast-traveled there. Great. Killed the ogres, great. Checked inside the house, nothing there, checked my body count: 3 ogres killed outside. Great, great, and great. There are only three, correct?

I go back to the borthers in Choroll, and when I speak to them, the only speaking option I have in the conversation is: "I haven't found it yet". Idiocy. I've reloaded my game save and done all the steps involved, including talking to the fighters guild person about wetherleah's location, and still, after I kill the ogres, my quest does not update, and I'm stuck with the brothers still not knowing that I have even found the damn place, much less cleared it out for them. What do I do?

I'm playing on the ps3, and from what I understand, the console versions don't have bug fixes. So am I just stuck here, then? For good? I have been playing this game for weeks straight now without any problems, and I have gotten quite a bit accomplished, so I don't want to start completely over again, and even then I have no gaurantee of something else in the game not screwing up. I'm sorry, but as great as this game is, if the console versions are not 100% completable because of these idiotic bugs, then it's not worth the aggravation for us non-pc gamers, know what I mean? I don't want to be stuck with an incomplete quest, PLEASE HELP!

I did go into the house. Never mind, I figured it out. Turns out that you have to follow all the steps until there is a marker on your map at the actual house, then in order for the quest to update, you have to find a specific spot where the arrow is at on the farm, which I had managed to miss all those other times, probably because it's such a specific small area. Actually, Legendary, the problems I've been running into are the same for every version-- I looked it up. Besides, so far every problem I've encountered I have also been able to ultimately fix and move on. The PS3 version is a fine game. Considering it was the longest worked on, it should be the best of them all, if anything, at least where where bugs or glitches are concerned.

if anyone was having trouble with the ogres, i found a way to finish the "legacy lost" quest. i attacked one of the brothers and had him follow me to the house and since the ogres were not around the quest ended, make sure to use a light powered attack!!!!!!

Whats up! I wanted to reply about the last part of the 'legacy lost' quest with the germane brothers and fathis ules. It doesn't have to do anything with the quest really but when u beat it u get the choice to either give the sword to the castle or to fathis and i decided to give it to the castle and fathis got mad and the germane brothers are happy. But i found a chest in the middle of the southeast plaza in the Imperial City Elven Gardens District and it says its fathis ules's chest and that it needs a key. Well i tried to kill fathis and it just knocked him unconcious so i took his key, but when i go to unlock the chest in the Imperial City it says "the lock cannot be picked u need a key" and so it wont let me in. Does anyone know what to do about it? I know that if u have oblivion on the pc that u can automatically unlock any chest. But if anyone can figure out how to get it open (on the 360) or atleast let me know whats in it I would appreciate it . And u can email me an j-dip2_it@yahoo.com

okay on the mission Legacy Lost I went back to Weatherleah. Expecting to see the two Ogres automatically. I didn't. So i checked the inside of the house as well, nothing. I have waited for about a week in the game and still the three ogres have failed to appear both outside and inside. I even attempted to reload the game to see if that would work and it didn't. can anybody help me?!
