Every time I try to finish the Vile quest for the Umbra sword my game locks up. I moved on to other quests and went back to this one to see if that would help. Is there a way around this? I have the sword, it is awsome, I choose not to give it to him, he has a tantrum, and the game locks up. I have repeated this senario many times. If I don't talk to him at all, I can continue my game play. Any ideas?

you have to delete all your title updates to dupe offline in oblivion. to delete updates... go to system blade of dashboard, go to memory and select your harddrive, enter X, X, LB, RB, X, X. then just load oblivion without updating and you can dupe again. Making Black Soul Gems is pretty easy. How ever many Black Soul Gems you want, get that many Grand Soul Gems. Take them to one of four places: Dark Fissure, Fort Istirius, Fort Lynchal, or Wendelbek. Outside should be an altar. Place the Grand Soul Gems in it and wait until night. Your only chance happens once a week. I don't know what day it is, but here should be red glow from the sky shining on the altar (sometimes a Necromancer will show up to make them too). When this glow is on the altar, cast Soul Trap on it. You now have Black Soul Gems.

im a mage and a breton and it took me like 2 weeks 2 get to master at alteration because u can use an alteration spell for like everything!!! just get overencumbered and use a spell that makes u lighter like a rly weak spell...ease burden, and if u do that non stop for like 20 min, thats like 15 lv. right there...so thats what i did for the thieves guild, i was just able to use a veryhard, hard, etc. spell 2 unlock everything...exept gates...it doesnt work on gates and i dont no y!!!

on the black soul gem thing for hermaeous mora. you MUST have black soul gems for the capturing of the souls. No other gem will work unless you cheat ur arse off to do so. To get all 10 gems, it will take a looooooooooooooooong time of waiting, but its about worth it. about 10 weeks for all ten. I recommend getting more, and if ur a master of merchantile, selling them for about 1500 gp a pop. Easy money.

if you look around the center of the niben bay, swim to the bottom, you will eventually find a sunken ship filled to the brink with chests of gold and jewels(jewelry). The cool part is that the booty comes back if you wait at least 3 months after taking it all. Do this 10 times and better things pop up. Eventually you find at least 3 black soul gems in one chest. This glitch is one of the rarest things ull find. Believe me. its near impossible to find, but its there. This thing wont be found on any book or website, straight from the developers, my cousin works with the Bethesda Comany and he found it out for me. Just search and enjoy the money

bowbox is prolly doin the very last deadric quest, (the squid guy up in the mountains) where you have to capture a soul from every race. bowbox juss go to all the other shrines. You can kill them since the quest is done and over with and plus, when are u ever gonna see them again? never, the best way is to get souls all from the other shrines and then for imperial jus go kill a guard at some city.

Get full daedric armor from Mazoga the orc in the leyawiin castle but u have to be lvl 20 also the quest on that farm outside the front gate of Anvil where u r to get back that mace for that woman's husband who left her and is hiding in that fort with bandits i think near castle anvil or its west of anvil but they both have full daedric armor u can keep kill mazoga though and the armor is yours same with the other guy and mazoga is a woman but can be a challege u can also get daedric armor from highwaymen u know the guys who ask u for 1oo gold coins and they are on wilderness trails try near the eastern part of the imperial city traveling by water which is easier contact me on more if u need help

to help me plz--------- i do not have daedric armor but i know who does Mazoga the orc in leyawiin castle or the white stallion lodge i also have the oblivion guide so i do know what lvl u have to be to see it around u must be lvl 20 and up ----- anyone who wears armor mostly should have daedric armor go to the settlement of pell's gate south of the imperial city the settlement is easier to reach if u travel by water and at pells gate their should be a woman wearing armor daedric if u are lvl 20 or higher kill her and take her bow and magical arrows the bow should be a daedric bow if lvl 20 or higher ----------- and also i do not know where blue blood cave is but i do know where Fort Blueblood is------ its located a little east or southeast of leyawiin also its a location for the leyawiin recommendation quest site check the maps of cyrodiil on this page check maps around leyawiin and u will locate it eventually ---------- and Rockmilk cave is located north of leyawiin easier to travel by sea along The Lower Niben search a little north of water's edge for rockmilk cave post me more messages if u have anymore problems.

u have to be LEVEL 20 TO GET REAL DAEDRIC ARMOR LVL 2o AND HIGHER anything lower than LVL 20 is not daedric armor u must be lvl 20 for her armor to be daedric but since u killed her her armor will not change fin someone else who has armor and lvl up to twenty and the armor should be daedric if not lvl up higher than twenty and mostly anyone who wears armor should be wearing daedric armor if u lvl 20 or higher if lvl 20 or higher find maruders maybe and look in shops when lvl 20 or higher they sell lvl armor armor depending on ur lvl

to p on ur illusion skill to 100 keep using charm on someone who stays still for a while Counts or countesses ----- and buy some training for illusion and destruction to put ur lvl meter up a little use low lvl frenzy spells on high lvl characters so they wont frenzy and try to kill u or someone else but if u keep using it on them ur skill will still go up after a while and for destruction skill leveling go into some caves and forts also mines and oblivion gates and try to use nothing but destruction spells that deal low damage so u can use more spells on ur enemies gaining more progress on ur destruction skill but still cause damage on them also keep repeating spells like charm frenzy and also calm spells on people and enemies tell me more if u need more help ill help u if u need anything

yes that is a good spell u r using ----- for daedric armor look in forts like fort sutch for marauders to see if they have it if not try the quest , "When the Vow Breaks get the quest from Maeva the Buxom who lives at the whitmond farm just north of anvil its the small house u see when u first come out the north anvil gate or when u are first entering anvil from the north bur the quest for her is to get her mace back from her husband who should have daedric armor since u r on lvl 20 if not lvl up 1 more lvl and come back if none of that works try shopping at shops that sell armor (imperial city , a fighting chance) look in the heavy armor section to see if they are selling the armor go to the settlement of pells gate a woman there should have a set of full daedric armor once u r lvl 20 or higher she should have a daedric bow and some magic arrows.if none of thse work contact me again and i will tell some more locations and holders of daedric armor

try casting the spell on someone twice and then kill them i read something about that i think it tells u what to do with the spell above in the quest guide--- but if it worked u will get a journal entry confirming u have captured the races soul ---- if it doesnt worked it is either u r using the wrong spell or u already have that races soul--- make sure it is the spell u got from starting the quest ------- contact me if it worked or didnt work

here r a few interesting things from my guide ----------- maybe useful...... and fun................. ---- u can go and look in the wilderness for birthstones ----- they give more special powers and abilites ------ u can break into the skooma den in bravil -------- u can go gold or silver hunting in mines ---- if u visit black rock caverns u will have to fight the ghosts of the black rock pirates ---------- the place of fort cuptor in the cave /fort --- u will find the disected skeleton/body of a child the place is inhabited necromancers-------------- u can find a human heart and human skin in the leyawiin mages guild on the top floor in one of these rooms ---- i forgot what happens if u eat the skin but if u eat the heart it is the same as eating a daedric heart the weird ingredients are on a wooden shelf and also the guy that is in jail in the imperial city for praying to the night mother here is his name claudius arcadia if u go to his home in the talos plaza district on his door is a note ---- if u go inside his house 1 or more guards will be hanging out in his house more like a clubhouse i been in there and there was 1 imperial legion guard in the gold and white palace armor in the there but save ur game before u do this - if u kill the guard or get past him somehow w/o killing him go into the basement and look arond on the floor u will see in a special little shrine or something on the floor is a puddle of blood and a human heart and piece of human skin WEIRD oh u can become great friends with highwaymen if u pay them 100 gold if u talk to him before he gets away u can persuade him ---- in my guide it says that if u tell the highwaymen u dont have 100 coins he wont believe u unless ur clothing value is less than ten all ur clothing costs added up must be less than 10 coins better yet become naked or just put on some sack cloth pants this is a hidden stat and all the highwaymen are formal highwaymen and are all khajiits and 2 levels above ur own u can also hunt the invisible troll near bruma THE UDERFRYKTE MATRON NEAR DIVE ROCKTRAVEL TO AERINS CAMP TO GET A QUICKER AND EASIER PATH AND ULL THEN UP AHEAD FIND THE BODY OF AGNAR THE UNWAVERING SOUND FAMILIAR THIS IS BASED ON MORROWIND THE CREATURE IN MORROWIND WAS THE INVISIBLE TROLLS CHILD YOU CAN LOOK AROUND FOR MORE WEIRD THINGS SO I WONT HAVE TO TELL U FOR NO REASON did u get all this???????

u cant get the gold and white armor but u can get the white and gold shield the palace guards carry but u will have to kill one of the guards but u can put frenzy on one of the guards and let civilians and other guards kill a guard in the gold armor and then take his sheild its just a legion sheild but white and gold u migh be able to take his armor if u r higher than lvl 20 i never tried it
