Respond to VAERMINA Go to the Mage's Guild quests page ( not sure which one) and find a location of where a casscet ( can't spell) with fancy cloth covered. Read and perform part of quest that is needed to get the black Soul Gem. Now help me if you can.

To get a Black Soul Gem get a Grand Soul Gem go to Necromancer lair and altar will be "special" one day of the week. Place the grand soul gem in the altar and cast soultrap on it. Badabing! Black Soul Gem!

to run a bit faster for the Peryite quest so it gets done quicker, go to Bravil, go in the skooma den and kill everyone there. take there skooma and all the skooma you can find. go to Oblivion, drink as much skooma you can and you'll run like heck! P.S. if you like to cast spells a lot - DO NOT TRY (unless you've got dozens of restore Intell. potions or got a higher fame than Infamy to pray at an altar of the nine.)

please help stuck on last reccomendation!! cheyhindinal one, i went down saw the guy in the water got the ring of burden but it killed me because my alteration wasn't high enough to cast buoncy. so i reloaded a previous saved game, went around for a few days and when i got my alteration up i went back to get the ring but the guy floating in the well is gone!!!! the green arrow on the minimap aims me towards a spot that seems to be in a wall, and i cant find any ring nor person... anyone have any suggestions??

(to Abbigael) first of all remove everything that gives you bonus to personality, because max is 100 and others are bonuses, next there are two scrolls: Chronicle of Sacrifice in Mach-Na's Books, Cheydinhal and Document of Puerile Banter in First Edition, Market District, they both cost aroun 8000, but each of them drains 50pts of personality, also there is a glitch whic let's you drink more than 4 potions if they drain an atribute al you need to do is: From your inventory, drink four Drain potions. Quickly close your journal and reopen it. Drink up to four more Drain potions. also if your alchemy is 50 you can make damage personality potions , but be sure not to use an alembic, and go to altar afterward ( the ingredients are mostly common: flour leeks, pumpkin etc and they also give you a positive restore fatigue effect, that makes it a potion not a poison)

This is the guy who is asking about the bow. Im just gonna go ahead and post my gold guide onto this website for fun. But still try to post the bow thing >.>. Im being nice to u so trade??? Ok its pretty Ez really. first join the thiefs guild. (buy stealing and going to jail or examine poster, bribe begger) finish the quest buy getting some picks and follow metherdal to the house if u dont wana fast travel there. (look at thiefs guild test for more info). Once u get in, First Rob the Jewelry shop in Market (800g w/ pickpocket key and one lock opened). Then Join the fighters and mages guild. Dont really do any of the quests yet go in and raid the place for items and go sell em to a thiefs guild member for money. Repeat and you should have alot of money. (havnt finished it myself yet). also what i did is steal and break locks for secrurity skill if u want to be a thief. that should get you some gold. also u can prob sell some 3000g+ items to the thiefs guild in the imperial city. This should easy get you atleast 10k in gold if not more. also on the dark crystil things it looks like there are some in the containers in the mages guild if u traded em in. Also, if u open a container w/ lockpick infront of another guild member, if u are joined, no crime agenst you! same with the other items. Remember Help me get my fliping bow!

I completed all the daedric quests, apart from Malacath. On Malacath's quest, I accidentally killed one of the ogres and didn't even notice until after I saved. Going to the altar of Malacath I got a message like "You were supposed to free my ogres, not kill them! No reward for you." Now this by itself is not a problem, I don't really care about the reward. So I went on with the game. Now I am level 43, completed pretty much every quest there is, but am unable to even start the Hermaeus Mora quest!! The Malacath quest is marked as complete, and I finished all the other quests just fine. Does anyone know if there's a way around this problem?? Or should I have to reside with the fact that I'm done with Oblivion?

No, the skeleton key never breaks. As for getting a daedric bow, the only way I can think of getting one is to level up and go into oblivion. You're bound to run into an archer, I've got dozens of bows.

Get 5 grand soul gems and catch 5 grand souls. you should need around 10,00 septims for this. GEt 5 pieces of armour or jewellery and enchant them at the arcane university in the chironsaium with chameleon. they should all have 20percent chameleon. Wear them all. you now have 100 percent chameleon. No one should be able to see you and you can hitting them with sneak attacks and massacre a whole town without getting hurt once (unless you fall off a building). It's cheating, but noobs do it. Doesn't matter about what armour it is. as long as it's not enchanted. No need to wear daedric or heavy armour. It just weighs you down. No ones is actually going to see you in rags and pewter rings! simples clothes will suffice.

For 'bought black gems' buy some grand soul gems and place them in the altar outside dark fissure cave at a certain time of the week, usually sundas when there is a light shining down from the sky, then cast your soul trap spell on the altar. You will need to cast the spell for each grand soul gem you place in there. Also the best souls to use them with are vampires and dremora. If you get summon dremora spell you can get all the souls you need with little risk of being beaten down.

After completing the Hermaeous Mora quest I chose "Steel" as the path to follow. For some reason my Strenth attribute went up 10 points from 93 to 103 in addition to blunt, blade and heavy armor. (This was not described in this guide, but perhaps a normal upgrade given?) However, I could not increase my blade, blunt or heavy armor skills any more after this upgrade through normal training. The only way to do so was through skill books or through trainers. Thankfully blade and heavy armor were in the 90's so it didn't take much from trainers to make master level, but my blunt is stuck at 15. The same thing occured when I finished the "Shadow Over Hackdirt" quest. After Seed-Neus raised my Mercantile skill, I can no longer increase the skill through normal training (buying and selling items). It won't budge. My Mercantile is stuck at 49. My Hand to Hand still skill will not increase either for some reason. I haven't figured out if there was a quest connected to a bonus skill increase that caused this glitch. My hand to hand is stuck at 35. =(

yes sanguine rose does do something, when you hit a person a monster from oblivion will be summoned and attacks all.. but I have the same problem as DarkPaladin, anyone help?

Not much you can do, sadly. It's a glitch in the game that seems to occur with some people. A good friend of mine had this same problem, if he gave the sword back or kept it his game would freeze within 5 seconds. He started another profile and then had no problems with the quest. Unfortunately, you might wind up having to do that too if the daedric quests mean that much to you.

I to have hade the problem with the C. VIle quest, the game froze ether I gave him the sword or kept it. I found a solution to the problem. If you fast-travel to 2 places directly after talking to him, there should be no problem. Exampel: Right after speaking to C. Vile fast-travel to Cheydinhal then directly after arriving fast-travel to Leyawiin. And you need to be quick between the fast-treveling. It worked for me, and I play Oblivion on Xbox 360.

Have you ever seen a altar in the middle of no where? Have you ever seen a light only shining down on it? If so, put a Grand Soul Gem in one and cast Soul Trap. When you go to check it, now it is a Black Soul Gem. You can repeat this how many times you want, just make sure the Altar is the one with the light shining down upon it from the sky.

to cure vampirism, you need to complete a quest which is way long and annoying, basically you have to get 5 empty grand soul gems, garlic, nightshade, blood grass, hindril vampire dust, blood of an argonian. go to castle skingrad and talk to the count!

the alters should be on a note you got from one of the missions i think it is hand writen note.

You just place a regular soul gem in a necromancer altar(there's one by a cave called dark fissure), then when the light is shining on it(usually at night on Thurdas), you cast dispel magic on it. That's one way it get a black soul gem.

Sanguine Quest: Don't get caught....I went towars the back of the room and crouched....soon as I used stark reality (save here so you can try over) I paused before it hit anyone and went to my inventory to drink an invisibility spell...no one sees you and everything's cool. I did, however, have to try a couple times to hit the right spot...I believe I finally ended up shooting the spell at an individual right towards the middle of the table and this got all of the guests in one try.

If anyone wants to know where the soul gems are here's what i heard... go to a necromancer's alter, u'll go to one if u do the mage's guild's like 2nd mission. When the alter is shinning put some Grand soul gems inside it and strike the alter with a soul trap spell. it should work i havent done it though
